Philip Lander is Owner – President / CEO of the Lander Group. He has over 40 years of involvement and commitment to construction and to the management of equipment assets.Mr. Lander’s understanding with Heavy Highway Construction, Bridge Building, Surface Mining, Mechanized Forestry, Agriculture Marine, Aircraft, and the Military solidifies his broad base of construction and machinery repair experience.

Prior to starting the Lander Group in 2005. Lander served with the 4th Mechanized Infantry Division U.S. Army from 1970 to 1972. This tour of duty anchored his understanding of the mobilization needs of the Army and Marine Ground Forces. His love for the military and desire to gain organizational skills inspired him to serve with the USAF Maine Air National Guard from 1974 to 2004. Mr. Lander served as a Flight Commander, an Instructor Pilot logging 10,000 hours, and as an Aircraft Maintenance Quality Control Officer, and is currently a LT Col in the USAF Retired Reserves.

Philip Lander holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology and a Bachelor Degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Maine. Lander is currently working on getting his Masters in Business Management. Lander, his wife Marilyn and their son reside in Bangor.
